Walker-Grant Middle School Conversion

Tian Construction provides construction management services for the renovation and conversion of approximately 7,000 square feet of middle school classroom space into kindergarten instructional areas. This project includes demolition of existing classrooms, restrooms, and finishes, followed by interior renovations designed to meet the needs of younger students.

The scope of work involves selective demolition, architectural upgrades, and major building systems improvements, including plumbing, HVAC, and electrical modifications. Work is conducted in coordination with school operations and requires adherence to safety protocols and construction timelines to avoid disruption to student activities.

Key components include:

  • Interior demolition and framing

  • Installation of new floor and wall finishes

  • Plumbing upgrades to support child-accessible restrooms

  • HVAC reconfiguration to meet revised load demands

  • Electrical and lighting modifications

  • Fire safety system enhancements

We coordinate closely with school administrators, design consultants, and subcontractors to deliver the project on schedule and in compliance with local educational and accessibility standards.
